At Voice of the Youth, we believe in taking action, not just talking or complaining. We understand that the heart of our work is also the heart of our community. We take the time to assess the needs of our community and strive to provide solutions.

One fundamental need we’ve identified is the cost of shoes, especially for families with multiple children. Shoes are not a luxury; they are a necessity. Sending a child to school without shoes is not an option. Shoes play a crucial role in boosting a child’s self-confidence and self-esteem. They make us all feel good when we step out with fresh kicks on. Unfortunately, some people resort to violence or other negative behaviors to acquire new shoes when they can’t afford decent ones.

That’s where VOY steps in. For four years, we’ve been committed to helping families by providing new, stylish shoes. This weekend, we proudly hosted our Annual Fresh Kicks 4 Kids giveaway event, serving over 300 families and giving away 500 pairs of shoes.

During this event, we had the pleasure of meeting incredible families and creating lasting memories. The smiles captured in the pictures tell the story of the day. We are immensely grateful to everyone who supported us in our mission to give back to the community. Your kindness and generosity make you extraordinary.
